It's very good and really makes you think. I like how you say what inspired the poem/picture. Sometimes it's a little hard to read the text but it's worth it. |

It's amazing how much Shakespeare's words can inspire. :) |

[Posted by owner]... "Mine eye hath played the painter, and hath stell´d Thy beauty´s form in table of my heart: My body is the frame wherein ´tis held." quote from Shakespear´s sonnets. I made a picture of that... "Now stole upon the time the dead of night, When heavy sleep had clos´d up mortal eyes; No comfortable star did lend his light, No noise but owls´and wolves´death-boding cries. Now serves the season that they may surprise The silly lambs; pure thoughts are dead and still, while lust and murder wake to stain and kill." Made an aquarel of this, Tarquin walking through the night. |

Well, it's an interesting coincidence! When Prospero tells Miranda of their past (before they came to the island), he mentioned that they were exiled in a boat. ;)
I've read several of Shakespeare's works, but The Tempest will always be my favorite story. |
