 | Added on Mar 14th, 2006 by darkelisaThis is a delightful comic strip that would fit into a fantasy genre. It has many aspects about history and mythology in it. The comic itself revolves around the character, Dietrich. |

From what I've seen so far this comic looks like it could really go places! Your drawing and coloring style is a nice change. I look forward to watching your comic grow. |

Interesting concept! To me, the best ones are the ones that make me laugh just trying to think of the build-up: "That's not love, that's food poisoning." |

A couple brand-new pages of Karma are online. Also, there is a print doujinshi of Karma available on the site. Check it out. |

[Posted by owner]... Glad you liked it. In terms of plot you ain't seen nothing yet!
Actually, there are two reasons why it is a doujinshi. First, it is a prequel to an upcoming Tokyopop book. So it's "fan" product, based on a professional manga. There is a twelve page preview of the Tpop book in the print edition of KARMA.
Also, there are two categories of doujins. Parody doujinhis (as you mentioned) and original doujinshis. So both of our works could be seen as original doujinshis, since they're self-published with no corportate input.

The plot is very unique I was sorta surprised.^^
Also, I was wondering why you call your comic a Doujinshi. I thought the definition of doujinshi was a fan-made comic based off a proffesional manga or something or other...
So I was wondering if you based Karma off a story or do you just call it doujinshi for whatever reason? |
