The Long Vigil
 | Added on Sep 21st, 2006 by BVCWhen you're crossing the hundreds of lightyears between star systems, suspended animation is a must. But it's no big deal. It's just like falling asleep. Of course ... waking up again can be a nightmare! |

It's a day late but we haven't forgotten E.C. Nickel's "The Long Vigil" over at Broken Voice Comics and I'm sure you haven't either!
This week's original Portuguese page is number 5 (of 8) so we're past the half-way stage now ... and, of course, the full comic in English is still available if you still haven't read that yet! |

Looking for some post-Christmas fun? Then take a look at E.C. Nickel's "The Long Vigil" over at Broken Voice Comics!
The latest supporting page is the original Portuguese version of Page 6, so you can spend many a happy hour comparing that to the final English version with which I'm sure you're already familiar! |

[Posted by owner]... The website set-up is a bit of a nuisance, I agree. I made a poor design decision regarding the use of i-frames at the beginning and that means too many of the pages open in their own pop-up windows. I'm not tech-y enough to know what to do about that now. :{
The problem goes away once you get to the comics, though, and each page should "turn" very smoothly.
Anyway, thanks for persevering and getting through to the comics. I'm delighted you enjoyed them. I've been lucky enough to work with some great artists and I'll certainly be letting them know they have another fan! |

I -love- the premise. Its not exactly easy to coax the good stuff out of your website setup, but once you go through the motions its worth it. Great art, great dialogue, most of all: excellent setting and premise. I'll be reading B) |
