I hope you guys dig Blikada. It's experimental, and I think some might dismiss it because it's all-pencil. But I do promise this: The story's just getting started, and just because it's graphite-only doesn't mean I don't work my ass off on every panel.

I'm aiming for an immersive, genre-less type thing: Fantasy without the elves, Sci-Fi without the spaceships. Might be your sort of comic if you're looking for something different. I hope you are.

[Posted by owner]... That's actually the right pronunciation, yeah. And it'll come to light much, much later what the word means and where it comes from. It's not even a word Betini, Eki and Ta know yet... although believers in Blikada are convinced they invented it.

Where does the name "Blikada" come from? And how do u pronounce it? I keep thinking it's pronounced sort of like "cicada," but I'm not sure if I'm correct.
