I just couldnt read this and not reply. Im not sure how Foulke wanted to portray these women but I view Bernadette as one of those traditionally strong people who on the outside seem to have everything going for them because of their talents but inside are a mild emotional wreck. Its not that Bernadette isnt strong, she is, but only in certain situations, like when she can use her fighting skills. She is confident enough with this aspect of herself because its physical, however emotionally she seems somewhat confused which makes her appear weak. Her emotional reliance on others (maytag) is what keeps her strong, but is also her weakness, making her frantic whenever those she relies on are in danger. And because the comic is mainly about the two of them... its somewhat often. I just wanted to give another view of Bernadette. Im blatantly waaay off.

This manga is amazing!!! XD I love Maytag, she is by far, one of the most original and refreshing characters I've seen! ^_^

I love this comic! Keeps you guessing and wanting more! not only is there the comic but there is also interviews with the cast and much more, well worth the time of day. My fave charictor is Maytag full of surprises and knives
