There is a new Gabardine Suits comic entitled "The Newfoundland Work". I like the names of Canadian provinces. I have already created a New Brunswick comic, I may just do all the provinces. Which one would you like to see created next? |

I woke up this morning at 4:30 am, freezing cold. I had all of my blankets on my bed and the heat turned up but as I looked out into the dark contained within my room, it felt like a frozen abyss. The only way to fight the cold was to either fall asleep or fall in love. I chose the latter. As I thought about my uncle's two horses galloping, I drifted off to sleep. I think one has to be in love before they can fall asleep peacefully. Caught in a movement that's undefinable. |

Each an every day I am trying to find a balance. That liminal phase where opposites meet. And once I find it, I turn that transition point into something tangible. Something meaningful. Something where the whole is more important than it's composite parts. Each and every day I am trying to find a site, a foundation for everything I do. Each and every day I am trying to find a function for everything that is purely symbolic. Each and every day I am existing outside by design not default. |

thank you for your comments.
the first day of winter. the winter seems like a fairly forgiving season. but one must be quite rueful. you have to take your time...she will turn your heart cold if you are not careful. some sleep and some fall in and out of love to keep warm. and when she is happy, it is then that the snow will stir in the night like little bits of hope, creating a buffer zone. it adds something tangible to the black sky and to the space between...a bit of a soft revolution. |
