To submit
your comic to OnlineComics.net, all you have to do is sign
up for a FREE OnlineComics.net account, then submit

the creator/publisher of the comic and let them know about OnlineComics.net.

How
is my comic's popularity determined?
There are
four variables that figure into your comic's popularity score. Each
variable accounts for exactly 25% of your comic's final score. The variables
are...
- Total
fans - This is the number of members who have
added your comic to their favorites page.
- Fans within 30 days
- This is the number of members who have added your comic to their
favorites page within the past 30 days.
- Total
praise - This is the number of unique members who have praised
your comic. Multiple praise by the same member is not counted.
- Praise within 30 days
- This is the number of members who have praised your comic within the past 30 days.
Why not
use JUST total fans and total praise to score popularity?
Because such a method would pretty much exclude new comics from ever
breaking into the popular section. By figuring fans within 30 days
and praise within 30 days into the equation, it allows new comics
to compete with the older entrenched comics.
Why aren't
hits and hits-per-month counted? Because in order
to judge whether or not you like a comic, you first have visit its Web
site. So while hits and hit-per-month probably do in many cases represent
a comic's popularity, the accuracy and impact of those numbers are in
question.

How
do I get my comic listed in the Popular comics section?
Comics
with a popularity score in the top 5% make it into the popular section.
The best way to increase your comic's popularity is to link your site to your comic's custom support page. From this page, your readers
can 1). add your comic to their favorites page, and 2). praise it in the Member
Comments section.
