A neurasthenic dentist and a comatose quadruple amputee are visited by an angel of mystery, mercy, and not-so-random encounters, who eavesdrops on their dreams and fills their heads with memories of the impact of their service in the Civil War. |

After much of being waylaid by various life things (which always seem to come along just when you're trying to get things in order), I have returned (and hopefully triumphant!). Reconstruction will be running through the Christmas holiday and into the bright new year without interruption. And if you are puzzled as to where we are in the story these days, fear not! I am pretty confident all will become clear after a fashion.
Furthermore, I am hoping that beginning in December, this serial may be moving from a twice-a-week update to a tri-weekly update (I'm that confident!).
Hope to see you all along for the ride.

Great set. Are you doing any advertising to support your stuff? It deserves to be seen by more people. |

I was immediately impressed by the depth of the writing in this comic. The characterization and dialogue is lovely as well, not to mention lovely sepia-toned art with a nice use of separate colors for emphasis. Very nicely done comic, with true research, accurate depictions, wonderful writing, and nice art. |

Very few online comics in the historical genre have as much research as what has been put into Reconstruction.
It is not only well written, well researched, the artwork itself suits the time period and is continuing to evolve with the comic!
Worthwhile read for those that love the time period or want to know more about it! |
